The
Transportation & Compliance section works in conjunction with the
Australian Goverment Cargo office in San Francisco,
US Customs, and the US Department
of State, and oversees the import and export of goods for the Australian
Defence Forces, between North America, Canada
and Australia.
The staff in the Section work closely with the contracted exporter (DHL) at
the Australian Government Cargo Office (AGCO) in Brisbane, California
in dealing with a variety of freight related queries on a daily basis. The
section is also responsible for maintaining blanket export licenses for
various munitions categories for minor parts and accessories of military equipment
used by the Australian Department of Defence. Copies of the current
licenses are available on this site.
